The key factors to gain a competitive advantage in the mini-hydroelectric industry are the growth pace and the balance between greenfield and brownfield projects. The former has higher return and requires loger turns to be developed, the latter deliveres lower return with abundant predictable cashflows.
Hydrowatt growth strategy is based upon the acquisition of operating plants and in-house development of new hydro opportunities.
